A Repair and Overhaul business can mean managing hundreds or thousands of different work orders for different parts, each competing for parts and labour. Recon helps you to take control of production planning, repair component allocation, turnaround time, maximum repair cost constraints, and much more. A typical repair work order in Recon, goes through the following stages:

  • Evaluation - this is where a technician will evaluate the repair item and provide a part and labour estimate
  • Evaluation Approval - a supervisor reviews the evaluation and then forwards it for estimating
  • Estimate - the administrative staff resolves parts, labour and other costs and calculates selling price
  • Estimate Complete - a quotation for the repair has been sent to the customer
  • Work Authority - the customer has provided a PO to proceed with the repair
  • Order Parts - the repair requires parts that must be ordered
  • Proceed - the technician may proceed with the repair, entering actual parts and labour
  • Quality Assurance - the repair is complete and quality assurance is being performed
  • Complete - the repair is closed and has been passed to shipping
  • Shipped - the repair has been shipped back to the customer
  • Invoiced - the repair has been invoiced
